Root cause + specialized nutrition support for hormonal & reproductive health
Hormonal symptoms can be disruptive, confusing, and deeply personal. We offer nutrition counseling for people navigating PCOS, PMDD, and persistent or unexplained hormone-related symptoms who want care that is grounded, weight-inclusive, and responsive to real life.
Root-cause without restriction means we care about why you feel the way you do — but we also care about how you feel right now. We reduce symptoms, build resilience, and explore contributing factors together, without rigid food rules or fear-based protocols.
A more complete picture of hormonal health
Hormones do not operate in isolation. They are influenced by nourishment, stress, sleep, medications, past dieting, neurobiology, inflammation, and lived experience.
Our work starts with curiosity, not correction. Care is collaborative and flexible. We move at a pace that supports regulation rather than overwhelm.
Together, we explore:
Patterns across your cycle, energy, mood, and symptoms
Looking at how symptoms show up across the month, not in isolation.
The role of stress, sleep, and the nervous system
Understanding how regulation, burnout, and chronic stress intersect with hormonal symptoms.
Nutrition without restriction
Supporting nourishment in ways that stabilize energy, support hormones, and reduce stress around food.
Who this support is for
Nutrition counseling may be helpful if you’re feeling stuck between wanting symptom relief and feeling wary of restrictive or fear-based hormone advice.
This work often supports people who:
Have PCOS or suspect they might
Experience severe PMS or PMDD
Live with irregular, painful, or unpredictable cycles
Feel chronically fatigued, foggy, inflamed, or “off”
Have tried weight-focused approaches that didn’t help
Feel overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition information
Want guidance that does not involve cutting foods or micromanaging intake
You do not need everything figured out to start. Many clients come in simply knowing that something isn’t working and wanting a different kind of support.

You do not need a diagnosis to receive care. If your symptoms are affecting your quality of life, they are worth addressing.
Nutrition counseling may be supportive if you experience:
Irregular, painful, or heavy menstrual cycles
Severe PMS or cyclical mood changes
Ongoing fatigue or low energy
Brain fog or difficulty concentrating
Blood sugar highs and lows
Bloating, GI discomfort, or inflammation
Appetite changes across the menstrual cycle
Feeling “off” in your body without clear answers

What sessions are like
Sessions are conversational and collaborative. We focus on understanding your experience first, then building practical strategies that fit your life.
This may include:
Symptom mapping and pattern recognition
Gentle nutrition education grounded in context
Support around eating regularly when symptoms interfere
Reframing unhelpful or fear-based health messages

There is no single “right” way to do this work.

In-person appointments feel overwhelming

You want to receive care without travel or added stress
Telehealth nutrition counseling is available to clients in New England and additional states, depending on licensure and insurance coverage.
Our assessment process
Before your first appointment, we carefully review your welcome packet so we can come in already familiar with your history and concerns.
During the first one to three sessions, we take time to really understand the full picture. This includes your medical history, current symptoms, lived experiences, and anything that may be contributing to or worsening how you’re feeling. We ask thoughtful, thorough questions not to overwhelm you, but to make sure nothing important is missed.
From there, we create a personalized plan tailored to you. This may include nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, targeted supplements when appropriate, and suggestions for additional testing if it would help clarify what’s going on beneath the surface. When needed, we also collaborate with or refer to other providers to ensure you’re getting comprehensive, well-coordinated care.
Our goal is to move at a pace that feels supportive, not rushed, and to build a plan that actually fits your body and your life.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. Many clients come in with symptoms that feel hormonal but don’t yet have a clear diagnosis. Nutrition counseling can be helpful whether you’re managing PCOS, PMDD, endometriosis, or navigating symptoms that haven’t been fully explained. If something feels off in your body, that’s enough reason to seek support.
-
No. Our approach does not involve restrictive hormone diets, elimination plans, or fear-based food rules. We focus on supporting consistent nourishment, reducing stress around food, and exploring nutrition strategies that fit your body and life without restriction.
-
Nutrition can be one supportive piece of hormonal care. We focus on nourishment that supports energy, blood sugar, and overall regulation while recognizing that hormones are influenced by many factors, including stress, sleep, medications, and nervous system health. Our work is collaborative and realistic, not about “fixing” your body.
-
That’s common. Hormonal symptoms are often cyclical and can shift month to month. We work with patterns over time rather than expecting everything to be consistent or linear. The goal is increased understanding and support, not perfection.
