Holistic + realistic nutrition support for eating disorder recovery
You are not your eating disorder. We provide thoughtful, individualized nutrition care that honors both eating disorder recovery and the complexity of the human body.
Root-cause without restriction means we care about why you feel the way you do — but we also care about how you feel right now. We reduce symptoms, build resilience, and explore contributing factors together, without rigid food rules or fear-based protocols.
Our approach to eating disorder care
Our approach to eating disorder care is truly personalized, holistic, and led with compassion. We recognize that no two people — or two recovery paths — are the same. Rather than using rigid rules or one-size-fits-all meal plans, we work collaboratively to understand your biology, your lived experience, your stressors, your values, and your goals.
Traditional treatment models can sometimes feel structured in ways that overlook individuality. While structure can be helpful, healing also requires flexibility, nuance, and respect for autonomy. We balance evidence-based care with real-life practicality — supporting recovery in a way that feels supportive, sustainable, and aligned with your life.
We look beyond food behaviors alone and explore the full picture: medical history, digestion, hormones, nervous system regulation, sensory needs, routines, thought patterns, and environmental factors. This allows us to address root contributors — not just symptoms.
Our work together focuses on:
Personalized nourishment strategies
Gentle, non-restrictive nutrition guidance
Prioritizing safety and a sense of self
Digestive and hormonal support when appropriate
Reducing food fear without forcing exposure before readiness
Building body trust and internal cues over time
Flexible structure instead of rigid rules
Compassion, curiosity, and collaboration at every step
Recovery isn’t measured by compliance — it’s built through curiosity, compassion, and reconnection with your body’s needs. We meet you where you are and move at a pace that supports both safety and progress.
Who this support is for
Nutrition counseling may be helpful if food feels stressful, confusing, or emotionally charged, even if you are unsure how to label your experience.
This support is for people who:
Feel stuck in cycles with food or eating
Spend a lot of mental energy thinking about food, meals, or their body
Feel disconnected from hunger, fullness, or satisfaction cues
Experience fear, guilt, or anxiety around eating
Are in eating disorder recovery or wondering if support could help
Have tried to manage things on their own and feel exhausted by it
You do not need a formal diagnosis or a clear recovery goal to begin. If your relationship with food feels hard, that is enough reason to seek support.
